CarMD Pro 14 Scan Tool Refund and Return Policy

A. Applicable Product
This policy only applies to the CarMD Pro Scan Tool model Pro 14 (the Pro 14 Scan Tool) purchased through our website

B. Eligibility for Refund
In order to be eligible to receive a refund on your return of the Pro 14 Scan Tool you must have purchased a Pro 14 Scan Tool directly from Corp. If the Pro 14 Scan Tool was purchased from a 3rd party reseller, you will need to contact the merchant directly for their return policy. Products deemed to have been abused or damaged (other than during shipment to you) are not eligible for a refund.

C. Return/Refund Process
Please carefully follow these steps if you need to return the product back to us. This process only applies to item Pro 14, purchased through our website

  1. 30day Return Policy. You may return the PRO 14 Scan Tool within 30 days after purchase. No returns will be accepted after 30days.
  2. Contact Support for RMA. If you decide to return a Pro 14 Scan Tool, contact customer support to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You will receive a refund confirmation e-mail, which is useful to facilitate processing of your refund.
  3. Return in Original Packaging. Return the Pro 14 Scan Tool package in its original product packaging – we recommend using a carrier that can insure it and provide you a package tracking number (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.). Please realize that CarMD is not responsible for return postage paid, or for a lost or misdirected package.
  4. Write RMA # on outside of box. Clearly write the provided RMA Number on the outside of your shipping box.
  5. Include Refund Confirmation Email. If possible, include a copy of the Refund Confirmation Email you receive to ensure faster processing.
  6. Shipping & Handling fees on your purchase are non-refundable.
  7. Policy only applies to physical product. This policy does not apply to any subscriptions related to your use of the Pro 14 Scan Tool, or any other CarMD Scan Too, such as CarMD PRO SCAN Base and Premium subscriptions. Subscription refunds are subject to different requirements and limitations.

D. Refund Process
CarMD will notify you via email (if provided) of your refund once we have received and processed your returned item. A credit will typically be posted to the original purchaser’s credit card within 7 to 10 business days of receipt and inspection of the returned product by our Quality Control Center. If for any reason it is determined that we cannot provide you with a refund, you will be contacted by email, phone, or regular mail within 10 business days of receipt and inspection of the returned product.
